David A. Cashman

David A. Cashman, 64, of Shumankanuc Hill Road, Charlestown, passed away on Thursday evening, July 10, 2025 at the Westerly Hospital. He is survived by his sister, Lynn M. Taylor, wife of Ronald, of Ashaway, his sister, Christine M. Miller of Frankenmuth, MI, his brother, Michael J. Cashman of Ashaway, his brother, Mark Cashman husband of Cyndi, of Highland, NY, his second mother, Nancy Cashman of Hyde Park, NY and several nieces & nephews.

Mr. Cashman was born in Massena, NY on Christmas Day 1960, the son of the late Lyndon and Shirley (Ryan) Cashman. David served more than 20 years in the United States Navy. He was a tomahawk cruise missile specialist during the Gulf War. David was also a shipper/receiver at Cimini and Associates of Westerly. David enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes and sports, especially the Buffalo Bills and the Boston Red Sox. He loved spending time with his family.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 11:00 am at North Stonington Baptist Church, 5 Rocky Hollow Road, North Stonington, CT. Full military honors will take place at church after the service. Burial at sea will take place at a later date.
