Georgina H. (Rose) Joseph

Georgina H. (Rose) Joseph, 68, of Groton, CT passed away Thursday morning, December 22, 2022. She is survived by her husband, Richard Joseph of Groton, her daughter Rebekka Somera of Uncasville, CT, her daughter Stephanie Walden of Rincon, GA, her daughter Nicole Lengyel Costa and husband Daniel Costa of Charlestown, RI, her stepson Chase Rowe and wife Diane Rowe of Groton, CT, her seven grandchildren Brooke, Brandon, Arianna, Julissa, Samuel, John, and Harper, her two great-grandchildren Elijah and Elena, her brother Gordon Rose and wife Edith Rose of Pawcatuck, CT, her half brother John Hunt and wife Linda Hunt of Pawtucket, RI, her step-brother Phil Russo and wife Anne Currin-Russo of West Windsor, VT. She was pre-deceased by her sister Arlene Elias and her former husband John Lengyel.

Mrs. Joseph was born in Charleston, IL on May 4, 1954, the daughter of the late George and Hazel (Golden) Rose. Georgina formerly worked at Pilot Travel Center and was retired. 

A graveside service will be held for immediate family and close friends on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Noon at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly, RI. Funeral services are under the direction of Rushlow-Iacoi Funeral Home & Crematory, 64 Friendship Street, Westerly.
