Julieann (Hudson) Cook

Julieann (Hudson) Cook, 75, of Westerly, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, October 13, 2022 at her home. She is survived by her loving children; her daughter, Dawn M. Pelkey and her son, Gerhard C. Cook Jr, of Westerly, Julieann also leaves behind her two grandchildren, Bryan M. Pelkey Jr. of North Stonington and Megan E. Cook of Warwick and her beloved dog and constant companion, Maggie Jules.

Mrs. Cook was born in Providence on February 18, 1947, the daughter of the late John and Helena (Byrnes) Hudson. Julieann was also predeceased by her husband, Gerhard C Cook, who passed in 1997.

Julieann spent many years in Bradford prior to settling in Westerly after her husbands passing. Julieann was a hard worker and worked as an office manager at local companies including Kenyon Industries and Cherelle Fabrics. She was also the manager at the Four Seasons Restaurant in Charlestown for many years prior to its closing. A Celebration of Julieann’s Life is scheduled for Saturday, October 22 at the Calabrese Club on Pleasant St in Westerly between 1PM to 5Pm for her family and friends.

A private service will take place at a later date at Rushlow-Iacoi Funeral Home & Crematory, 64 Friendship Street, Westerly. Burial will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic, CT.
