Mary E. (Genese) Cook, 76, of Shannock Hill Road, Carolina, RI, passed away on Monday morning, July 31, 2023 at the Westerly Hospital. She is survived by her husband, James N. Cook Sr. of Carolina, her son, James N. Cook Jr. of Westerly, twin daughters, Tara Cook of Coventry and Tanya Paige of West Warwick, her grandson, Dustin Cook of Westerly, her granddaughter, Erica Kilbourne of Coventry, her great-grandson, Adrian Cook of Westerly, her sister, Lorraine Genese and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Cook was born in Westerly on October 18, 1946, the daughter of the late Frank and Geraldine (Murray) Genese. Mary was a waitress for many years at Friendly’s Restaurant of Westerly.

Funeral services will be private and are under the direction of Rushlow-Iacoi Funeral Home & Crematory, 64 Friendship Street, Westerly.
