Natale “Nick” Pellegrino, 90, of Atlantic Ave., Westerly, passed away on Wednesday morning May 5th, 2021 at the Westerly Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Elizabeth (McCarthy) Pellegrino and three daughters, Elizabeth Borelli of Lake Oswego, Oregon, Katherine Isselhardt of San Diego, California and Patricia Peard of Corona Del Mar, California and six beautiful grandchildren.
Natale was born in Westerly on September 11th, 1930, the son of the late Giuseppe and Cristine (Ferravolo) Pellegrino. He was a veteran of the Korean War while serving in the US Air Force.
Natale joined the Norwich Bulletin in 1969 and worked as advertising director until 1982, when we co-founded the commercial printing company, Franklin Impressions until he retired in 1998.
Nick was well known for his “Pellegrino sense of humor”, his kindness, wit, and unique ability to make everyone he met feel welcome and appreciated. He loved great food, good wine, and most of all family and friends.
A private service will be held this weekend at his Westerly home.
