Robert E. Thibdeau

Robert E. Thibdeau Sr., 81, of Pawcatuck Avenue, Pawcatuck, passed away on Sunday morning, April 28, 2024, at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London. He is survived by his wife, Judith A. (Kenyon) Thibdeau of Pawcatuck, his daughter, Lauri Maynard and her two children Nicholas and Rhianna, his son, Robert E. Thibdeau Jr. and wife Victoria and their daughter, Annastasia.

Mr Thibdeau was born in Westerly, RI on October 3, 1942, the son of the late Jesse and Frances (Doherty) Thibdeau. Robert was a police officer (LT) for the Town of Stonington and after his service to the town, he became a teacher’s assistant for the Westerly School Department.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Michael Church, 60 Liberty Street, Pawcatuck on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 10:00 am. There are no calling hours. Burial will take place after the Mass at Stonington Cemetery, 345 North Main Street, Stonington. Funeral services are under the direction of Rushlow-Iacoi Funeral Home & Crematory, 64 Friendship Street, Westerly.
