Sebastiana (DiCarlo) Guarnieri

Sebastiana (DiCarlo) Guarnieri, 90, of Gravity Court, Westerly, passed away with her loving family by her side on Saturday evening, June 1, 2024, at her home. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Gesualdo Guarnieri of Westerly, her daughter and son-in-law, Josephine and Thomas J. Kathan of Moraga, CA, her son, Maurice Guarnieri of Norwich, CT, her grandchildren, Ryan Kathan, Kristen Kathan-Cataffo and her husband Michael Cataffo, Michael Kathan, and her great-grandson Henry Cataffo. She is also remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Guarnieri was born in Caltavuturo, Italy on February 1, 1934, the daughter of the late Giovanni and Soccorsa (Gervasi) DiCarlo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High Street, Westerly. Calling hours will take place before the Mass from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at Rushlow-Iacoi Funeral Home & Crematory, 64 Friendship Street, Westerly. Burial will take place at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly.
